Lo primero perdón por preguntar esto, ya que seguro sea repost, pero el ordenador me va increíblemente lento y navegar por el foro es un suplicio, de verdad.

Yo antes estaba muy metido en este mundillo pero a raíz de la YLOD hace dos años lo fui dejando, lo fui dejando... y hasta ahora que voy a comprarme una PS3 nueva, de estas finitas que han salido, y tengo algunas dudillas:

¿Qué tal están saliendo estos modelos, se joden con facilidad como la mía de antes (FAT) o aguantan más tiempo?
¿Se puede actualmente instalar un CFW, sin tener un dongle, y seguir teniendo acceso a la PSN mediante algún parche o algo?

No quiero fomentar la piratería con ninguna de estas preguntas, solo quiero saberlo, es más, si no queréis ni me digáis que parche lo permiten, ni que CFW es el mejor, solo si existen, repito que mi intención no es fomentar la piratería es solo saber porque es un factor decisivo a la hora de comprarme una bichita de estas.

Si es nueva, olvídate de CFW. Es curioso, porque parece que las consolas que permiten CFW son las que están destinadas

¿COMOOOOOOOOO??? Joder que faena... pero no se puede meter CFW a ninguna de la SLIM? Ni la que ha salido recientemente ni la que ya tenía un tiempo?? Es que creo que las FAT ya ni las venden (de primera mano)...

Sólo se puede si la Slim no es una 3XXX ni el modelo nuevo (4XXX) y tengan un firmware 3.55 o inferior.

Ten en cuenta que estamos hablando de slims que, con suerte, salieron al mercado hace casi dos años. De ahí que descarte que la encuentres nueva, porque te va a ser casi imposible.

@largeroliker he estado buscando y llevás mucha razón, lo mínimo que he encontrado han sido modelos 3XXX.

Igualmente quería compartir con vosotros una noticia que he encontrado en ps3pirata.com (creo que no va contra las normas si pongo la fuente ¿no?) es de hace un mesecillo, pero como soy un cacharrero nato, a lo mejor me animo a hacerlo, me compro la super slim y pruebo a ver, buscaré más referencias por que no sé si es un método muy fiable ni tampoco sé el procentaje de riesgo de BRICK

Está en inglés pero básicamente dice que se puede instalar un CFW en CUALQUIER PS3, con CUALQUIER OFW, mediante el E3 flasher y la modificación de código de la PS3...

Roughly Translated:

Con una noticia de hace un mes si hubiera sido cierta te aseguro que ya habría miles de noticias y tutoriales en todas las páginas, por experiencia sé que en esa página abundan los fakes y demasiadas "copias de seguridad"

Te digo ya que no por una simple razón: Sony en los modelos 3xxx (igual que hizo en PSP) modificó parte del arranque para que, en definitivas cuentas, no fuera posible instalar nada casero en ella. Esto es una versión muy resumida y me dejo muchísimos detalles

Sólo te digo que cuando en 2008 hizo lo mismo en PSP (si la tuviste, quizás te suene eso de placa maldita...) cortó de raíz los CFW tradicionales, y aún estamos igual.
