How to recover MS erased files

Mensaje por Puzky »

First of all I have to say that this how to.. was done by kravenbcn and this it's a traslation

How many times happens that we are looking for free space in the MS and we erased a important file? Well with MS File Rescue we can recover some erased files.

As I say you can't recover all the erased files but a lot of them

NOTE: This tutorial was done with a 1Gb MS recently formatted. He could recover 1273 files

1.- First we download MS File Rescue and install the program in our PC

2.- We connect our MS to PC, it could be from the PSP or in a card reader

3.- We start the MS File Rescue, once inside click Next, select our Memory Stick and select Run.

4.- the recovery process will start, this process may take considerably depending on the capacity of the Memory Stick.

5.- When the process finish, the program show us the files that can be recovered

6.- We mark the files we want to recover and click Next.

7.- Now we have to select the directory where we want to save them (the default folder is MSFR, inside of My Documents "), click save and then we'll have recovered the files.
